The site provides general information. It is not medical, legal, financial or safety advice. Details such as addresses, contact numbers, opening hours, fares and access conditions can change without notice. Confirm anything important with the organisation concerned or the official source.

Emergencies

This site is not an emergency service. In an emergency call the national emergency number 999 and follow the instructions of the authorities.

Your contributions

When you submit a suggestion, correction, review or event you confirm that it is truthful to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. Contributions are reviewed and may be edited, declined or removed.

• Do not submit false, misleading or defamatory content
• Do not share other people’s private information
• Do not post advertising disguised as a review, or requests for money
• Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site

Business listings

A listing is not an endorsement. Paid listings are labelled “Sponsored”, and payment has no effect on verification. Claiming a listing requires verification and does not allow an owner to mark their own listing as verified.

Jobs

Job listings link to the employer. We do not take part in recruitment. No genuine employer charges a fee for a job: report any listing that asks for money.

Photographs

Photographs are published with a credit and licence. Illustrations are used where no verified photograph is available and are not depictions of the actual place.
